Possible Move?[edit]
This should probably be moved or aliased as J.H. Maiden and Joseph Henry Maiden ??? What do others think? MargaretRDonald (talk) 01:40, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- @MargaretRDonald: I thought the same! But when I went looking for a guideline to confirm, I realized I have been conflating the Wikisource and Wikispecies guidelines. Wikisource says to use the full name in the page name, but Wikispecies actually doesn't seem to say anything on the subject... Since all citations seem to use "J.H.", I still agree the page could be moved. --Azertus (talk) 12:13, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Azertus: My preference is always for the full name plus two page redirects. By the way, I am not sure what you mean by all citations seem to use "J.H". "Yes", if you are talking about citations of his articles but "No" if you are talking about his botanical abbreviation which is "Maiden". MargaretRDonald (talk) 20:23, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
