Esstrildidae does not exist anymore. Estrildinae is a subfamily of Passeridae. Iberomesornix 22:22, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not according to most authorities. Very few accept the massively top-heavy lumping classification placing almost all passerines in just one or two huge families. - MPF 18:26, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
