Dispute

• Beron (2008: 67) lists this species as Erythraeus hirsti, a new name to replace Erythraeus pilosus (Hirst, 1928), a junior secondary homonym in Erythraeus. I reject this as a probable error, and I uphold Southcott's (1961, 1988) placement of it as Erythrites pilosus
