Taxonomy[edit]
This species was placed in Myuchelys by Georges and Thomson (2010) but this has since been seen as an error and the species was moved back to Elseya by Rhodin et al., 2011 and further by Rhodin et al., 2012. It has nothing to do with any argumants over Wollombinia as it should not be in that genus at al. Faendalimas (talk) 21:17, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
