[edit]Formerly included in Lemuridae. For status of this taxon, see Rumpler (1975) and Groves (2001c), who reviewed and rejected the hypothesis that they may be more closely related to (non-Malagasy) Loriformes than to (Malagasy) Lemuriformes.
