• 1 male, Auckland Islands, Mortensen Expedition, 29.XI.1914 (Brookes coll., NZAC) [published by Johns (1974: 288)]
  • Gourlay (1950: 180) stated that 4 specimens had been taken by the Mortensen Expedition (the remaining 3 specimens are presumably in the Copenhagen Museum)
• 1 female, 1 male, 1 elytra, Magnetic Cove, Adams Island, 18.I.1966, P.M. Johns [published by Johns (1974: 288)]
• 1 female, ditto but 19.I.1966 [published by Johns (1974: 288)]
• 3 males, Camp Cove, Auckland Island, 24.I.66, P.M.J. [published by Johns (1974: 288)]

Notes

• there does not appear to be anything to substantiate the claim by Larochelle & Larivière (2001: 40) that this species is 'very hygrophilous', and Johns (1974: 288) stated that the localities for this species were 'well-drained peaty areas near cliff-tops'
