Talk:Agelaius

Following recent lists - Clements 5th ed. (updated 2005), Howard & Moore 2003 - six species have been taken out of this genus, placing:

• cyanopus, thilius and xanthophthalmus in Agelasticus
• icterocephalus and ruficapillus in Chrysomus
• flavus in Xanthopsar

I placed it in Fringillidae, according to Avibase and Araniz-Villena. --Scuila 23:47, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
