Stegonotus parvus (Meyer, 1874): 137. BHL

  • Syntypes: MTKD 876, two specimens, collected by German naturalist/anthropologist Adolf Bernard Meyer (1840–1911), between 10–28 April 1873 - LOST in Allied Bombing of Dresden, 13–14 February 1945.
  • Type locality: “Neu-Guinea, Jobi" (Ansus, Yapen Island), ca. 1.7341° S, 135.8263° E), Papua Province, Indonesia.
  • Neotype: RMNH.RENA 46844, ♀, collected by leprosy doctor Dick L. Leiker on 22 February 1952.
  • Type locality: Serui, Yapen Island, ca. 1.8807° S, 136.2386° E, Papua Province, Indonesia.
