Sphenophryne cornuta Peters & Doria, 1878

Type locality: "prope flumen Wa Samson Novae Guinea borealis" (= near the Wa Samson River in Northern New Guinea), Vogelkop Peninsula, Papua, Indonesia.

Holotype: MSNG 29479.
