Senecio sykorae Montesinos, PhytoKeys 39: 6 (2014).

  • Type locality: Peru: Moquegua Region, General Sánchez Cerro Province, Yunga District, E of Yunga, terrestrial on bare clayey soils on the peaks of Perusa mountain, 4802 m. 16° 11' 8" S, 70° 38' 14" W.
  • Typus: leg. Montesinos & Calisaya 3805; 2012-04-13; Holotype: USM; Isotype: HUSA.

Note:: accepted by Hassler, considered as synonym of Senecio melanandrus (Wedd.) J.Calvo, A.Granda & V.A.Funk by POWO and Tropicos.
