Rineloricaria microlepidogaster (Regan, 1904)

Type locality: Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. .

Etymology: From micro- (= small), lepido- (= scale), and gaster (= belly), referring to small abdominal plates, in 5-6 series between the posterior plates of the lateral series, anteriorly more numerous. (From The ETYFish Project)
