  • Holotype: USNM 267205, adult ♂, collected by Jeremy F. Jacobs and Addison H. Wynn on 24-25 May 1986.
  • Type locality: “34°39′50″ N and 85°22′10″ W, at an elevation of 310 m, at the mouth of Dickson Gulf on the eastern slope of Pigeon Mountain, Walker County, Georgia”, United States.
