  • Typus: Jalisco, Mun. Mezquitic: 10 km al sur de Tenzompa camino a Los Amoles, [22°25'N, 103°40'E], 2050 m. J.A.Pérez de la Rosa 1839. (Holotype: IBUG; Isotypes: ENCB, MEXU).
