Phoxinus karsticus Bianco & De Bonis, 2015

  • Holotype: IZA 00314-1.
  • Paratypes: IZA 00314 (4).

Type locality: Endorheic River Trebinje, near Jasenica Village, Bosnia Herzegovina.

Etymology: Named after its habitat, which is a karstic region, in this case the karstic area of Popovo Polje, placed in westernmost area of Bosnia-Erzegovina region.
