Description

O. baltaetum is an Australian dragonfly that have clear wings without the coloured markings found in other Australian species. O. baltaetum live on streams and riverine swamps in Cape York and northern Territory and New Guinea. O. balteatum, O. boumierra and O. caledonicum have various proportions of yellow and black but, the males develop a blue waxy coating called pruinescence as they mature
