      • Type locality: Galapagos Islands.
      • Syntypes: collector not indicated; (material forms part of the St George Expedition of 1923-1924 associated with C. Crossland) 25.vii.1924; PC unnumbered, General Herbarium box collection (non-fossil; filed in non-geniculate coralline type collections cabinet under basionym). Notes: Also BM, sheet collections, filed under Lithophyllum mutabile.
