- Holotype: IEBR A.2014.15, adult ♂, collected by Dao T. A. Tran, David Kizirian, Truong Q. Nguyen, Pedro L.V. Peloso, and Cuong T. Pham on 5 August 2011.
- Type locality: “rocky crevice, 0.5 m from 4–5 m wide, rocky stream in disturbed evergreen forest in Song Luy Watershed Forest, Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam (11.2748°N, 108.2109° E; 200 m elevation)”.
