Note: The synonymy in Govaerts is not universally accepted, but consensus is that Lens is a section in Vicia, as Vicia sect. Lens (Mill.) Leht & Jaaska, Feddes Repert. 130(3): 284 (2019). However, a formal taxonomy of Vicia has yet to agreed.
