Hylocereus polyrhizus (F.A.C.Weber) Britton & Rose, Cactaceae 2: 185 (1920), nom. ambig.

  • Homotypic
    • Cereus polyrhizus F.A.C.Weber in K.Schum., Gesamtbeschr. Kakt. 151 (1897).

This name has been attributed to both Hylocereus costaricensis and Hylocereus monacanthus but the original description of F.A.C.Weber describes an epiphytic, five-angled plant which only might be a juvenil Hylocereus. The name is indeterminate.
