Hierophis gemonensis (Laurenti, 1768) [conserved name]

  • Syntypes: Museo Turriano ♂ and ♀. [lost fide Schätti, Stimson, & Henle (1991: 50)]
  • Neotype: MHNG 1357.70, adult ♂, collected by W. Zinniker in May 1962. [designated by Opinion 1686 (1992: 174)]
  • Type locality: “Gemona”, Italy, redesignated by neotype designation to “Cegar (Zadar, Yugoslavia)”.
  • Placed on the Official List of Specific Names in Zoology by Opinion 1686 (1992: 174).
