Both were content that Harpagocarpus Hutch. & Dandy, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1926(8): 364 (1926) and Parapteropyrum A.J.Li, Acta Phytotax. Sin. 19(3): 330 (1981) are synonyms.
