Neotype: WHT 7001, ♂, collected by S. Batuwita on 5 June 2003. [designated by Batuwita (2016: 491)]

Type locality: “Ceylon”, redesignated by neotype designation to “Kalahagala near Polonnaruwa, 07º52’N, 80º54’E, 60 m”, by Batuwita (2016: 491).
