Etheostoma maydeni Powers & Kuhajda, 2012

Holotype: USNM 403641, adult male, 79.7 mm.

Type locality: New River at U.S. Hwy 27 near New River, Scott County, Tennessee, (36.3827° N, 84.5529° W), 7 March 2006, S.L. Powers, B.R. Kuhajda.
