Name[edit]
Espeletiopsis Cuatrec., Phytologia 35(1): 54. (1976)
- Type species: Espeletiopsis jimenez-quesadae (Cuatrec.) Cuatrec., Phytologia 35(1): 56. (1976)
Note: Espeletiopsis Sch.Bip. ex Benth. & Hook.f., Gen. Pl. [Bentham & Hooker f.] 2(1): 414. (1873) was used by Bipontius in relation to Actinea intrgrifolia vide Hymenoxys integrifolia (Kunth) M.W. Bierner, Sida, 16(1): 5 (1994). It is uncertain whether or not Cuatrecasas was aware of this.
