Capoeta turani Özuluğ & Freyhof, 2008

  • Holotype: IUSHM 36300-100.
  • Paratypes: FSJF 2356 (8); IUSHM 36300-94 (10), 36300-101 (9), 36300-105 (3).

Type locality: Stream Çatkit, south of Salbas, lower part of River Pozanti, 37°05.77'N, 35°07.02'E, Adana Province, Turkey.

Etymology: in honor of Davut Turan, author of “important” papers on Anatolian Capoeta. (From The ETYFish project)
