Bolitoglossa suchitanensis Campbell, Smith, Streicher, Acevedo & Brodie, 2010

Holotype: UTA A-58421, by original designation.

Type locality: Volcán Suchitán, above Aldea Suchitán, Municipio Santa Catarina Mita, 1960 m, Jutiapa, Guatemala (14.403209° N, 89.779753° W) ... buried in moss on a log at about 1615 h near a rest stop on a hiking trail known locally as 'La Bandera'.
