Atelopus coynei Miyata, 1980

Type locality: "Banks of Río Faisanes where it crosses Ecuador Hwy 28 (the road from La Palma to Quito via Chiriboga), 14.4 km from the junction with Hwy 30 (the Aloag to Santo Domingo de los Colorados road) at La Palma, Pichincha Province, Ecuador, 1380 m".

Holotype: MCZ 91444.
