    • Holotype: ZMB 18149, adult ♀, collected by G.A. Zenker.
    • Type locality: “Bipindi”, Cameroon, in error fide Wagner, Barej & Schmitz (2009: 296).
  • Agama anchietae var. methueni Boulenger & Power, 1921: 269
    • Syntypes (n=3): BMNH 1936.8.1.373–375.
    • Type locality: “Great Karas Mts.”, “Naroep Namaland” and “Namaqualand”.
