Tatenectes laramiensis (Knight, 1900) - O’Keefe & Wahl, 2003

  • Type locality: Oxfordian, Upper Jurassic; "Redwater Shale" informal member, Upper Member of the Sundance Formation; Natrona and Carbon Counties, Wyoming.
  • Holotype: W. C. Knight, uncatalogued. (Lost)
  • Neotype: University of Wyoming Museum of Geology, Laramie, Wyoming. UW 15943 & UW 24801
