Amerotyphlops reticulatus (Linnaeus, 1758)

  • Lectotype (icnotype): figure 4 of plate 747 of Scheuchzer. [designated by Bauer (2012: 68)]
  • Neotype: RMNH 7660, subadult ♂, collected on 3 April 1939, donated to the museum by H.W.C. Cossee. [designated by Dixon & Hendricks (1979: 25), invalid by Bauer (2012: 68)]
  • Type locality: “America”, redesigned by neotype designation as “Paramaribo, Suriname” by Dixon & Hendricks (1979: 25), invalid by Bauer (2012: 68).
