  • Type locality: French Polynesia, Austral Islands, BENTHAUS Expedition. Marotiri Isles. 27°51.38’ S, 143°31.42’ W, 100–120 m. Thiers Bank.
  • Holotype: ♂, 3.8 mm; MNHN Pg 6359; stn DW 1888; 2002-11-06.
