Type locality: Sonai-dake (24°23’N, 123°45’E), Iriomotejima Is., Okinawa Pref., Japan

Holotype ♂: NSMT-Ar 3568 (30.VII.1991; T. & J. Irie)

Allotype ♀: NSMT-Ar 3569 (Banna-dake, Ishigakijima Is., Okinawa Pref.; 11.VII.1994, T. Irie)
