Distribution
[edit]Low boreal species, distributes on the British Isles, in the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay (Bocquet, 1950, 1953, Naylor & Haahtela, 1966, De Grave & Holmes, 1998, Junoy & Castellό, 2003).
Habitat
[edit]Littoral marine benthic species. Peaks of densities are generally below mid tidal level. Stony substrates are preferred, but rarely occurs also on algae (Bocquet, 1953, Naylor & Haahtela, 1966, De Grave & Holmes, 1998).
