Holotype: ASIZAM 0055, adult ♂ collected on 9 February 2005 by Shu-Ping Wu.

Type locality: “Shouka timber trail, 400 meters above sea level, Pingtong County, Taiwan (22°14'41.12"N, 120°49'50.14"E)”.
