Usnea subfloridana Stirton, 1882

Photograph of a herbarium specimen showing branches with abundant fibrils, soredia, isidia, and a black base.

Spot test on white medulla: K+ yellow turning red.

This specimen of Usnea subforidana was growing on a tree trunk along Little Cape Point Trail on Great Wass Island in Washington County, Maine, USA.
