Summary

Description
English: Inyo tonestus (Tonestus peirsonii), large perennial clump flowering on a cliff-face ledge, with dried remnants from previous years. This is a local plant endemic to the mountains of Inyo and Fresno counties of California, in this case near its original type location, at 10,400 ft (3,200 m) on the cliffs above Long Lake, Little Lakes Valley, John Muir Wilderness, Sierra Nevada USA.
