Summary

Description Native, cool season, perennial, hairless herb to 50 cm tall. Stems are procumbent to ascending. Leaves are oblanceolate to spathulate, thick, 15–30 mm long and 2.5–15 mm wide. Flowerheads are dense cylindrical spikes. Flowers are subsessile and white; the tube is 6–7 mm long and lobes 4–5 mm long. Flowering is from early spring to summer. Grows in heath and dry sclerophyll forest in sandy regions, often near beaches or lagoons.
