Description
Deutsch: Schlingnattern erbeuten in erster Linie Eidechsen und Blindschleichen. Da sie ihre Opfer nicht durch einen Giftbiss töten können, verfahren sie nach dem Prinzip der Würgeschlangen, indem sie ihre Opfer umschlingen (daher der Name Schlingnatter) und mit muskulösem Würgegriff deren Atumung unterbinden.
