  • Type Status: 'Isosyntype' fide Kew Herbarium Catalogue, but 'Battiscombe 708' is the only specimen mentioned in the protologue.

  • Plant Description: Small riparian tree up to 20 feet. Corolla yellow sweet scented. One sepal, rarely two or threee, on each fruit becomes white and foliaceous; giving the tree an appearance like a white Poinsettia.
