Summary
DescriptionMale Klaas's cuckoo, Chrysococcyx klaas, at Pilanesberg National (44363928765).jpg | There is a story behind this bird. It was in a tree in one of the picnic sites that is not well maintained. While I was taking the photo, a lone bull elephant pressed down the heavy cable of the fence, and stepped over it, and stood about 3m away eating a tree. It blocked my exit, and was slowly moving towards where I was standing under a nice lucious green tree. I grabbed my camera, and ran to the back of the site, I had to climb outside the fence, and walk back to the car out in the park. Then I had to wait over an hour in the car for the elephant to get 10m or so away, and ran back in and grabbed my tripod and backpack. There was adrenaline that day! |
