Summary

Description Middle sized Ide (Leuciscus idus) Note the slender shape compared to the bulky appearance of a 50 cm specimen. Also the color is more silvery. These Ides are sometimes confused with Chub, but they can be distinguished by the small scales, smaller mouth and concave anal fin. Also note the leeches (Cystobranchis respirans) around the anal fin.
