Specimen now in the collections of the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, France, under registration number MNHN 2006-1637. Parasitological number JNC1761.
Collected off Ilot Signal, off Nouméa (22°6' 0" S ; 166°16'59" E), New Caledonia, 7 March 2006. Fork Length 190 mm, Weight 133 g.

This specimen was identified (from photographs) by Kent Carpenter.
