Summary

Description Venegasia carpesioides—canyon sunflower. The name may say sunflower but the species prefers the shady sides of canyons. Its range is from San Luis Obispo County to San Diego County and includes the Channel Islands. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
