Eumida sanguinea (Örsted, 1843)


English: Bristle worm from the near-coastal zone of the Belgian part of the North Sea. This polychaete prefers rather fine sand (median grain size ~200 µm) with up to 40 % mud content[1].

Français : Eumida sanguinea, un vers polychète de la zone néritique de la Mer du Nord. Il préfère les sédiments de sable fin (diamètre médian de 200 µm environ) avec un taux de vase pouvant atteindre 40%[1]. Photo prise au laboratoire.
