This Tiger beetle (Clindera versicolor) lives usually on foliage (big leaves of the understory) and not like most Cicindelidae on the ground!
At the small creeks there are remains of a gallery forest threaten by an ever expanding Quarry!
This Tiger beetle has been always rare!
However, now, the creeks with shady gallery-forests are less and less common and most are converted to stone quarries by now ....
