In the pure white sandy scrub of Jupiter Ridge Natural Area, I came upon an astonishing single plant of Coastalplain goldenaster. Situated all alone, this magnificent plant was 5 feet tall (1.5m) and had 4 massive branches, all exploding in full bloom. The thickly leaved stems were even bursting with buds. This massive plant was the main event so an army of native bees were busily buzzing around it. The few usable photos I got (windy day) all have bees (sorry "no bug" groups).
