| Description |
Caladenia alpina. I was walking along the trail - sort of in a nice hiking flow after six days on the Over land Track. I had hoped to see some orchids in Tasmania, but so far - no luck. I was walking through an area where some logging had occurred, it was rather scrubby, in fact, some of the most non-descript terrain of the entire Overland Track - when I spotted these orchids. I tried a number of shots - best attempts are here, and I had no macro lens. Day 6 of Overland Track Australia oz2009 530 |
