Summary
DescriptionA Friendly NZ Fantail (51134779678).jpg |
Bird photography with a macro lens!? I was busy trying to photograph a small group of fungi when I was visited by this friendly fantail. I managed to snap this shot before he moved on. Rather high ISO as it was quite low light. Known for its friendly ‘cheet cheet’ call and energetic flying antics, the NZ Fantail (pīwakawaka) is one of the most common and widely distributed native birds on the New Zealand mainland. |
