Holotype: BMNH 97.11.7.77, adult ♂, skin in alcohol and skull removed.
Type locality: “Chimbo, near Guayaquil, [Bolívar,] Ecuador. Alt. 1000´ [=350 m].”

Holotype: USNM 173832, subadult ♀, body in alcohol.
Type locality: “Cabima, Panama.”

Holotype: BMNH 24.3.1.73, adult ♀, skin and skull.
Type locality: “San Lorenzo, 500´,” Loreto, Peru.
