- Holotype: MCZ A-136904, adult ♂, collected by D.C. Blackburn, J. Diffo and N. Gonwouo on 24 September 2004.
- Type locality: “Cameroon, West Province, below Mt. Bamboutos summit, 5°39′41.0′′N, 10°07′37.9′′E, 2050 m elevation”.
